A modern shrub rose who looks and performs like an antique. Bred by Kordes in 1953 for super healthy foliage, continual bloom and striking flowers, this rose is a workhorse in the garden AND the vase. But wait! This gem is super fragrant too. Seemingly delicate flowers are tough and if cut in bud, will add a completely different feel to the traditional centerpiece or bouquet. Similar to other roses with prominent stamens, after the petals drop you have a saffron tiny explosion on a stem — a game changer for designers who seek the unique.

Hardy: 4b-10b
Bloom: Nearly single, 4 inch diameter
Fragrance: Strong
Color: Pink, blush, cream, white
Type: Shrub
